Seborrheic Keratosis Rough Surfaced Lesions

Rough surfaced lesions are more common. These lesions begin as flat scaly papules. Keratin is retained and the lesions become thicker. Horn pearls may be seen occasionally on the surface. The keratin dries and cracks apart to form a lesion that looks like the surface of dry mud.
