Psoriasis and other papulosquamous diseases
Papulosquamous diseases are a group of disorders characterized by
scaly papules and plaques. These entities have little in common except
the clinical characteristics of their primary lesion. There are many
diseases that present with papules and scale. The major papulosquamous
diseases are described here. Psoriasis is the most common
papulosquamous disease. It affects from 1-3% of the population.
