Total body skin exam are performed every 6 months for the first 2 years after the initial incision. The frequency of examination is then reevaluated as 2 years. High risk individuals with many atypical nevi may be reexamined at more frequent intervals. There are no routine laboratory or imaging studies performed for the followup of patient’s was localized disease.
