Generalized Pustular Psoriasis
This uncommon, severe and unstable form of psoriasis requires immediate medical attention. Onset may be quite sudden. The patient appears quite toxic with fever and generalized skin tenderness. The patient complains of feeling chilled and in fact radiates a significant amount of body heat through the inflamed skin. Generalized pustular psoriasis may be drug related. Sterile pustules are regional or generalized, and often occur in waves.
