Skin tags are small benign growths that are found in certain individuals about the eyes, neck, under arms and in the groin. They can be easily removed.

Psoriasis is a disease that presents with red scaly patches. They can be found on any skin surface including the scalp and back of the hands. The disease may persist for long periods of time.

Lice are small insects that are commonly found in the scalp of young children. These insects lay eggs on the hair shaft. These small white egg sacs are called nits.

Female pattern alopecia. Women may lose hair as they grow older just like men. The pattern of loss is different. Women often retain hair in the anterior portion of the scalp.
